FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Foundations is best for young players looking to build more fundamentals & confidence. It's also good for an older player that might have minimal availability.
Development is best for all players ready for more consistent weekly training and steady progress. The reps and muscle memory help promote development. This membership is also great for multi-sport athletes.
Blueprint is for our most serious athletes committed to high level development, consistency and performance. This program has unlimited sessions but meant to be the more customizable. This includes facility access and strength & conditioning training.
All training sessions are booked through Swift. Create or log into your Swift account, add your athlete profile, and purchase your membership. Then select the "classes" tab to select the sessions you'd like to attend.
Training sessions must be booked at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time. This allows us to staff classes appropriately and manage facility space. Players may text our staff within that window to check on a sessions availability.
We believe consistent training, quality coaching, and the right environment are essential for long-term player development.
Our small-group sessions typically feature 6 or fewer athletes per coach, allowing players to receive individual instruction while benefiting from a competitive, high-energy environment.
Unlike occasional private lessons, our membership model encourages athletes to train more frequently, build better habits, and consistently apply what they're learning.
Training alongside other motivated players also creates natural competition, accountability, and opportunities to learn from one another.
The result? More reps, greater consistency, individualized feedback, and a structured development process designed for long-term improvement.
Absolutely not. While repetition is an important part of development, our training sessions are designed to be much more than simply getting reps.
All of our programs follow a structured development plan with different phases, progressively increasing in intensity and complexity throughout the course of the program.
Our coaches work together to establish clear objectives, assess individual player needs, and align on what we want athletes to accomplish. Through purposeful drill work, ongoing assessments, and individualized feedback, we help athletes build strong foundations, develop better movement patterns, and improve their overall understanding of the game.
Each phase builds upon the previous one, with the goal of helping athletes make adjustments, build confidence, and become more independent in their development.
This is a system of development. Not just reps.
Thats not mandatory but they very well could. Families choose eligible sessions and times that work for their schedules. We encourage consistency but that wont always be the case. There should be sessions available but reach out if you need help with schedule accommodation.
Yes. Groups reflect age & development level; staff is also comfortable discussing appropriate changes as well. Elite sessions are invite only. We will expand our groups even further as we group.
High School: 14-18U
Intermediate: 12-14U
Youth: 9-13U
Through ongoing assessments, video, coach feedback and technology such as HitTrax, Rapsodo and Blast. Nothing beats in game performance and competing though.
Blueprint members receive facility access outside scheduled training hours, subject to availability and advance booking through Swift. We do have a separate facility access membership available to the public. Foundations and Development members can purchase a separate Facility Access membership or upgrade their membership.
Yes! Our goal is to keep iD Baseball & Grey Ducks separate. Our training memberships are open to all baseball players, regardless of their team or organization.
If an athlete experiences an injury during a membership with a multi-month commitment, we can arrange to save eligible training credits for future programming. Please contact our staff to discuss the situation.
Email bthorney@idbaseball.com before your next payment, after the 3-month commitment. Processed payments are nonrefundable.
